Part of what makes any state economy succeed is the ability to transport goods-be it on airplanes, trains or automobiles. Emily understands that we are not making the most of our economic potential here in Wisconsin. In Wisconsin, our roads continue to crumble with no real leadership coming from Madison. Currently, Wisconsin ranks #49 in quality roads and #41 for transportation according to the Transportation Development Association. If we want a 21st-century economy we need to improve our infrastructure.
Special interests in Madison have conspired to delay much-needed improvements to our freeways, highways, and local roads. Once elected, Emily will be a champion for infrastructure improvements and will work hard to build a 21st-century economy and transportation system to match it.
